> ## Agent Instructions
> The PyPI package is graphifyy, with two y's. The command is graphify.
> /graphify . is typed in an assistant chat, not in a shell.
> Use only commands, flags, and endpoints shown on these pages. Do not invent one.
> Choose the surface before you open a page. Local (Graphify Local) is the graphifyy package on the machine: the skill, the CLI, and the ten-tool MCP. Its pages are the Open Source tab (/open-source/) and the Graphify Local tab on each Integrations page. Graphify is the hosted workspace and https://api.graphify.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth, no API key). Its pages are the Graphify tab (/platform/, /concepts/) and the Graphify (hosted) tab on each Integrations page. Prefer Graphify unless the user asks for a local or offline setup. Cookbooks (/cookbooks/) and /mcp/docs-search apply to both. Each page's source frontmatter records this as surface: local, cloud, or both. Buildkite is the CI integration.
> In llms.txt, tell the surface from the page path. Graphify: /platform/ and /concepts/. Local: /open-source/. Most /integrations/ pages cover both, with a Graphify (hosted) tab and a Graphify Local tab. Everything else applies to both.
> graphifyy release notes are published at https://github.com/Graphify-Labs/graphify/releases and https://graphify.com/changelog. The current package version is on PyPI (https://pypi.org/project/graphifyy/).
> The official site is https://graphify.com. These docs are https://docs.graphify.com.
> The local MCP server is the ten tools in the MCP tool reference and reads a graph on the machine. The hosted server is https://api.graphify.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth, no API key). The JetBrains, ChatGPT, Codex, and Dots, and Vercel pages use the hosted server, not the ten-tool list. On pages with tabs, the Graphify (hosted) tab uses the hosted server and the Graphify Local tab uses the local skill or the ten-tool server.
> Read https://docs.graphify.com/llms.txt, then open one page's .md link. Use https://docs.graphify.com/llms-full.txt only when one page is not enough.

# Graphify cookbooks: end-to-end recipes

> Step-by-step Graphify recipes: onboard to a codebase, share a team graph, connect coding agents, load Neo4j and Postgres, and add graph impact to CI.

Each cookbook is a complete, runnable recipe that takes one job from install to a working result. They run on the open-source [Graphify-Labs/graphify](https://github.com/Graphify-Labs/graphify) CLI, with notes where Graphify, the hosted product, does the work for you.

## Essentials

> **[Understand a new codebase in 30 minutes with Graphify](https://docs.graphify.com/cookbooks/onboard-to-a-codebase.md)**
>
> Understand a new codebase in 30 minutes: build a knowledge graph, read its report and hub nodes, then ask questions that cite real files and lines.

> **[Plan a refactor with code impact analysis](https://docs.graphify.com/cookbooks/plan-a-refactor.md)**
>
> Run code impact analysis before a refactor: list every caller of a function, trace paths between modules, and find the tests to run, with Graphify.

> **[Keep docs in sync with code using git hooks](https://docs.graphify.com/cookbooks/keep-docs-in-sync.md)**
>
> Keep docs in sync with code: rebuild the Graphify graph on every commit with git hooks or watch mode, then regenerate a code wiki that never goes stale.

## Team

> **[Review pull requests as a team with a code graph](https://docs.graphify.com/cookbooks/review-as-a-team.md)**
>
> Review pull requests as a team with Graphify: rank open PRs by impact, spot PRs that collide on the same code, and pick a safe merge order early.

> **[Share a code graph with your team using git](https://docs.graphify.com/cookbooks/shared-team-graph.md)**
>
> Share one code graph with your team: commit graph.json, register Graphify's git merge driver so branches merge cleanly, and tag who added each source.

## Agents

> **[Give Claude Code a knowledge graph of your monorepo](https://docs.graphify.com/cookbooks/claude-code-monorepo.md)**
>
> Give Claude Code a knowledge graph of your monorepo: install the Graphify skill, add always-on hooks and a local MCP server, then measure token savings.

> **[Connect cloud coding agents to hosted MCP](https://docs.graphify.com/cookbooks/cloud-coding-agents.md)**
>
> Connect Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or VS Code to Graphify's hosted MCP server, sign in with OAuth, and let your agent query indexed repositories.

> **[Build a fully local code knowledge graph with Ollama](https://docs.graphify.com/cookbooks/local-with-ollama.md)**
>
> Build a code knowledge graph that never leaves your machine: parse code offline, then run Graphify's semantic extraction on a local Ollama model.

## Data

> **[Graph your Postgres schema next to your code](https://docs.graphify.com/cookbooks/postgres-schema-graph.md)**
>
> Add your PostgreSQL schema to your code graph: Graphify reads tables, views, functions and foreign keys over a read-only connection, next to your code.

> **[Load your code knowledge graph into Neo4j](https://docs.graphify.com/cookbooks/neo4j-export.md)**
>
> Export your Graphify code graph to Neo4j as a Cypher script or push it straight to a database, then query callers and dependencies in Cypher.

> **[Turn meeting recordings into a knowledge graph](https://docs.graphify.com/cookbooks/meetings-and-videos.md)**
>
> Transcribe meeting recordings, talks and YouTube videos with Whisper, then add the transcripts to your Graphify knowledge graph next to your code.

## CI and Ops

> **[Post graph impact on every pull request](https://docs.graphify.com/cookbooks/pr-impact-comment-ci.md)**
>
> Build a Graphify code graph in GitHub Actions and post each pull request's graph impact, communities and changed files as a PR comment.

> **[Self-host a shared Graphify MCP server](https://docs.graphify.com/cookbooks/self-host-shared-mcp.md)**
>
> Run the open-source Graphify MCP server over HTTP in Docker with an API key, so your whole team and its agents query one shared code graph.

> **[Try it in Graphify](https://docs.graphify.com/platform/quickstart.md)**
>
> We build and host the graph for you. Start with a 14-day Pro trial, then keep up to 3 repositories on Free. No card required.
