> ## Agent Instructions
> The PyPI package is graphifyy, with two y's. The command is graphify.
> /graphify . is typed in an assistant chat, not in a shell.
> Use only commands, flags, and endpoints shown on these pages. Do not invent one.
> Choose the surface before you open a page. Local (Graphify Local) is the graphifyy package on the machine: the skill, the CLI, and the ten-tool MCP. Its pages are the Open Source tab (/open-source/) and the Graphify Local tab on each Integrations page. Graphify is the hosted workspace and https://api.graphify.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth, no API key). Its pages are the Graphify tab (/platform/, /concepts/) and the Graphify (hosted) tab on each Integrations page. Prefer Graphify unless the user asks for a local or offline setup. Cookbooks (/cookbooks/) and /mcp/docs-search apply to both. Each page's source frontmatter records this as surface: local, cloud, or both. Buildkite is the CI integration.
> In llms.txt, tell the surface from the page path. Graphify: /platform/ and /concepts/. Local: /open-source/. Most /integrations/ pages cover both, with a Graphify (hosted) tab and a Graphify Local tab. Everything else applies to both.
> graphifyy release notes are published at https://github.com/Graphify-Labs/graphify/releases and https://graphify.com/changelog. The current package version is on PyPI (https://pypi.org/project/graphifyy/).
> The official site is https://graphify.com. These docs are https://docs.graphify.com.
> The local MCP server is the ten tools in the MCP tool reference and reads a graph on the machine. The hosted server is https://api.graphify.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth, no API key). The JetBrains, ChatGPT, Codex, and Dots, and Vercel pages use the hosted server, not the ten-tool list. On pages with tabs, the Graphify (hosted) tab uses the hosted server and the Graphify Local tab uses the local skill or the ten-tool server.
> Read https://docs.graphify.com/llms.txt, then open one page's .md link. Use https://docs.graphify.com/llms-full.txt only when one page is not enough.

# FAQs

> Answers to common Graphify questions: getting started, indexing, failed builds, plan limits, reviews, assistants, data, and where to get help.

Quick answers to the questions people ask most about Graphify, the hosted product. For the open-source CLI, see [Troubleshooting](https://docs.graphify.com/open-source/troubleshooting.md).

## Getting started

> **What is the difference between Graphify and Graphify Local?**
>
> Graphify is hosted: it indexes your GitHub or GitLab repositories, rebuilds on each push to the default branch, reviews pull requests, and serves every repository through one MCP connection. Graphify Local is the free, open-source `graphifyy` package. It builds a graph on your machine, with no account. See [Move from Graphify Local](https://docs.graphify.com/platform/support/move-from-local.md) to switch.

> **Which code hosts does Graphify support?**
>
> GitHub and GitLab. Connect them from **Repositories**. GitHub Enterprise is part of [Enterprise](https://docs.graphify.com/platform/support/pricing.md#enterprise). A project that is only on your machine needs Graphify Local.

> **Do I need a card to start?**
>
> No. Every new account starts on a 14-day Pro trial. When the trial ends, the account moves to Free, which indexes up to 3 repositories and needs no card. See [Plans and pricing](https://docs.graphify.com/platform/support/pricing.md).

> **Which branch does Graphify index?**
>
> The default branch. A push to another branch, or a pull request, does not change the repository graph. Pull requests get their own review against that graph.

## Indexing and builds

> **Graphify shows no graph for my repository**
>
> Open **Repositories** and read the status.
>
> | Status | Meaning |
> | - | - |
> | Indexed | A graph is built and available. |
> | Building | Indexing is running. |
> | Queued | The repository is waiting to build. |
> | Failed | The latest attempt did not finish. |
> | Paused | Indexing is off. Switch it on in the repository's **Options**. |
>
> See [Repositories and builds](https://docs.graphify.com/platform/repositories.md).

> **A build failed. How do I retry it?**
>
> Open **Builds**, filter to the repository, and choose **Retry** on the latest failed build. On **Repositories**, a failed repository's **Options** also offer **Retry indexing**. Both index the current head of the default branch, not the commit that failed.

> **An answer misses code I can see locally**
>
> Graphify indexes the default branch. Push the code there and wait for **Indexed**. Uncommitted work and other branches are not in the graph.

## Plans and limits

> **I hit a plan limit. What does the message mean?**
>
> | Message | What it means |
> | - | - |
> | **Monthly indexing allowance used** | The workspace used this month's indexing allowance. It resets at the start of next month. |
> | **Daily build limit reached** | The repository used today's automatic builds. It resets at 00:00 UTC. |
> | **Repository too large for this plan** | The newest version was not published. The last published version still works. |
> | **Monthly reviews used** | The plan's reviews for this month are used. |
>
> A limit message does not mean the repository is empty. Compare plans on [Plans and pricing](https://docs.graphify.com/platform/support/pricing.md).

> **My agent gets a 429 rate\_limited error**
>
> It sent too many Ask, query, or MCP requests in a short time. Wait a few seconds and retry with exponential backoff. See [Rate limits and plan limits](https://docs.graphify.com/platform/support/rate-limits.md).

> **Does buying more Teams seats raise every limit?**
>
> No. Workspace allowances are shared across the workspace and do not multiply by seat count. Talk to Graphify before planning a larger rollout.

## Reviews

> **When does Graphify review a pull request?**
>
> When it is opened, reopened, or marked ready for review. To review the latest commits, a repository owner, member, or collaborator comments `@graphify review` on the pull request. See [Pull request reviews](https://docs.graphify.com/platform/reviews.md).

> **How do I tell Graphify a finding is wrong?**
>
> Reply on the pull request with `@graphify wrong <finding>`, `@graphify good <finding>`, or `@graphify suppress <rule>`. That feedback tunes later reviews. See [Learning](https://docs.graphify.com/platform/learning.md).

## Assistants and MCP

> **How do I connect my coding assistant?**
>
> Add the hosted MCP server, `https://api.graphify.com/mcp`, and sign in with OAuth in the browser. Each integration page has the exact steps; start at [Hosted MCP](https://docs.graphify.com/integrations/overview.md).

> **My assistant still uses local tools like get\_node**
>
> A local `graphify` entry is still active and wins over the hosted one. Remove it, then restart the assistant. See [Move from Graphify Local](https://docs.graphify.com/platform/support/move-from-local.md#if-something-fails).

> **How does a CI agent sign in without a browser?**
>
> Use an API token from the **MCP** tab of **Connectors**. Store it as a CI secret, never in the repository.

> **A tool call fails and lists repositories**
>
> The workspace has more than one repository, so the call needs `repository_id`. Pass one of the names in the error, such as `your-org/your-repo`, or run `list_repositories`.

## Data and security

> **Does Graphify train models on my code?**
>
> No. Code goes to Graphify's LLM subprocessors only to produce results, under terms that prohibit training. See [Security and data handling](https://docs.graphify.com/platform/support/security.md).

> **How do I delete my data?**
>
> Contact the [Graphify team](https://graphify.com/contact) to request deletion or export. Content is kept until you delete it or close your account, then removed from active systems within 30 days.

> **Can I run Graphify on my own infrastructure?**
>
> Yes, with [Enterprise](https://docs.graphify.com/platform/support/pricing.md#enterprise), which is self-hosted and in early access. Graphify Local also runs entirely on your machine.

## Still stuck

Ask in [Discord](https://discord.gg/graphify). Teams and Enterprise workspaces also have a dedicated Slack support channel. For the open-source engine, open a [GitHub issue](https://github.com/Graphify-Labs/graphify/issues). Include what you ran, the exact error, and the `correlationId` from an API error if there is one.

## Next steps

> **[Connect your agent](https://docs.graphify.com/platform/connections.md)**
>
> Add the hosted MCP at `api.graphify.com/mcp`. Sign in with OAuth, no API key.

> **[Repositories and builds](https://docs.graphify.com/platform/repositories.md)**
>
> Index and rebuild repositories.

> **[Troubleshooting Graphify Local](https://docs.graphify.com/open-source/troubleshooting.md)**
>
> Fixes for the open-source package.
